Google will soon launch Pixel Buds Pro

Google launched the Pixel series of wireless headphones in 2020, which was originally planned to target Apple AirPods but failed to meet expectations. Its main shortcomings include connection problems and short battery life. But now the news is that Google may soon address these pain points with the Pro version of the Pixel Buds.

According to leaker @Jon Prosser, Google will launch a pair of high-end wireless earbuds dubbed the Pixel Buds Pro. This could mean Google is re-challenging the high-end wireless earphone market dominated by Apple's AirPods Pro and Samsung's Galaxy Buds Pro.

The Google Pixel Buds Pro is said to be available in a variety of colorways: Real Red, Carbon, Limoncello, and Fog, but we know almost nothing beyond that. Having said that, it is certain that this new product will have active noise cancellation.

In addition, Prosser also claimed that the Pixel Buds Pro will arrive soon, but did not give a specific date. However, it was previously reported that the new Pixel product will be launched at the recent Google I/O 2022 event (May 11), although there has been no previous news about the headset.
