ROG officially released the ROG Magic 16 flip version notebook, equipped with a maximum of R9 6900HS + RTX3070 Ti configuration, equipped with a 2.5K 165Hz Mini LED screen.
The new Magic 16 flip version upgrade supports touch operation, unlocks four all-around use modes through the 360° two-stage hinge design, and also upgrades to support the connection of the XG docking station. In addition, the ROG Magic 16 Flip also supports Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos immersive audio.
In terms of screen, the ROG Magic 16 Flip version is equipped with the ROG Nebula original picture screen with a Mini LED panel. This screen was used on the dual-screen of the flagship screen machine King Ice Blade 6 released at the beginning of the year. The 16-inch has 2.5K resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut coverage, 1100 nits peak brightness, supports Dolby Vision, and also uses 5400Hz UHF dimming, optimized in ROG's exclusive Nebula original picture engine Optimize the 25% halo effect problem of Mini LED screen, and support Free Sync display technology to prevent tearing. The screen upgrade supports 4096 pressure-sensitive level touch, supports MPP2.0 technology stylus, covers Corning Gorilla Glass, and can also be easily touched in tablet mode.
In terms of configuration, the ROG Magic 16 Flip Edition uses an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, is equipped with a 125W NVIDIA GeForce RTX3070Ti laptop GPU supports dual-display three-mode "graphics switching, optional 16GB DDR5 and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD combination, supports up to 2x32GB DDR5 memory and up to 2x2TB (can be combined with Raid 0).
In terms of heat dissipation, the ROG Magic 16 Flip Version adopts the new architecture design of Glacier Cooling 3.0, 3 fans, and 5 heat pipes, with 330 ice wing fins as thin as 0.1mm, and the total radiator surface area reaches 110902mm².
In other respects, the portability of the Magic 16 flip version is reduced, about 19.4mm thin, about 2.2KG lighter, standard 90Wh large battery, and supports 100W PD fast charging.
At present, ROG has not yet released the ROG Magic 16 Flip Version.
