Sony plans to release about half of its games on PC and mobile phones by 2025. A chart presented during the company's annual investor day presentation suggested that about a quarter of the company's game releases in 2022 will be on PC and mobile, with the rest between its PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles distribute. By 2025, roughly half of the games it releases will run on PC or mobile devices.

Jim Ryan, president of Sony Interactive Entertainment, said: "By expanding into PC and mobile, and also into live streaming, we have the opportunity to move from being in a very narrow segment of the overall gaming software market to being pretty much everywhere. "

Ryan also said that investing in PCs and mobile devices could lead to "a massive increase in the number of people who play our games, who like our games, and who are spending money on our games."

Sony's plan shows that the company has tasted the sweetness from bringing games such as "Horizon: Zero Dawn", "The End of the Moon" and "God of War" to PC, and the platform's net sales The amount more than tripled from $80 million last year to an estimated $300 million in 2022 . Sony has been emphasizing its plans to bring more games to PC, launching the PlayStation PC label last year and even acquiring a PC porting developer.
