Earlier this month, the manufacturer Club3D released a USB Type-C 2.1 cable that supports 240W power supply, but did not announce the price and launch time. Now, Japanese manufacturer ELECOM has officially announced the price and release time of its USB4 cable that supports 240W power supply.

According to reports, ELECOM will release the "USB4-CCPE10N" series of USB4 Type-C cables that support 240W power supply in late May at a price of 8,480 yen (about 442.66 yuan).

The manufacturer's USB4-CCPE10N series supports data transfer up to 40 Gbps, while supporting USB PD EPR output up to 240 W. In addition, the manufacturer also launched an entry-level model that supports 240W power supply and USB 2.0 data transmission, priced at 3,880 yen (about 202.54 yuan).

There is currently no notebook product equipped with a USB-C interface that supports 240W power supply, and it is reported that notebooks will begin to support it in the second half of the year.
