Transsion Tecno Pova 3 mobile phone released

Transsion Holdings has been committed to promoting its brands Tecno and Infinix in the global market. So far, these brands have focused on the mid-to-low-end segment of 4G phones. Today, Tecno launched a new mid-range smartphone. It comes with a large 6.9-inch screen and a huge 7000 mAh battery. The phone is being sold in the Philippine market and will soon arrive in other markets such as India.

According to Tecno, users can use the phone for at least two days before needing to recharge. The phone also features several battery enhancements. The list includes a super power saving mode and reverse charging, which allows users to charge other devices at a decent 10W charging speed. The phone supports 25W charging speed. That's not super fast charging on a smartphone with this battery capacity. Tecno also offers a 33W charger.

The Tecno Pova 3 features a 6.9-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. It uses a centered punch hole and has a built-in 8-megapixel selfie camera. In terms of optics, the phone has a 50-megapixel main camera and two 2-megapixel secondary lenses on the rear. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 chip, with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage, and also supports micro SD storage expansion.

The phone features stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience. A side fingerprint scanner is supported, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio receiver. The phone is powered by Android 11. Tecno and Infinix had some issues with Android 12.

The Tecno Pova 3 is available in Electronic Blue, Tech Silver, and Eco Black. In the Philippines, the 4GB+64GB basic model costs $172 (about 1155.84 yuan). The 6GB+128GB version is priced at $180 (about 1209.6 yuan).
