Vietnam's smartphone shipments fell 3% year-on-year in Q1

Counterpoint Research released a report that in the first quarter of 2022, Vietnam's smartphone shipments fell by 3% year -on-year .

The report stated that Samsung maintained its lead with a market share of 30.8% in the first quarter of 2022, thanks to the success of the Galaxy A series and Galaxy S22 series, especially the popularity of the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

According to Counterpoint, Vietnamese consumers prefer high-end smartphones, with the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max being the best-selling models in the premium segment .

The data shows that Xiaomi ranks second with a 20.6% share thanks to the Redmi 9 series and the recently launched Redmi Note 11 series . OPPO and vivo ranked third and fourth with 14.4% and 11% shares respectively. Realme ranked fifth with a market share of 6.2%.
