Apple launches new 35W power adapter with dual USB-C ports

In today's WWDC 2022 speech, Apple officially launched its new dual USB-C 35W power adapter, which is sold with the M2 MacBook Air, with a retail price of 399 yuan. In addition, Apple also listed three new colors of USB-C to MagSafe 3.

Here's what Apple has to say about the accessory:

Charge your device with Apple's 35W Dual USB-C Power Adapter and USB-C Cable (not included). Connect the USB-C cable to either port on the charging head, extend the power prongs (if needed), and plug the power adapter firmly into a power outlet. Make sure that the power outlet can be disconnected at any time. Connect the other end of the cable to your device.

The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max is said to be capable of fast charging at speeds of up to 27W. This means that the dual USB-C adapter can quickly charge the iPhone 13 Pro Max while also charging other accessories like the Apple Watch.

From Apple's official introduction, we can learn that this product also supports USB-C PD fast charging:

  • Input: 100–240V /1.0A
  • (USB PD) Output 1 or 2: 5VDC / 3A or 9VDC / 3A or 15VDC / 2.33A or 20V DC / 1.75A
