Intel: Arc A380 memory is actually 15.5Gbps,

Intel launched the Ruixuan A380 GPU in China, and announced that the graphics card equipped with this GPU has a suggested price of 1,030 yuan, which will be launched this month.

The card comes with 15.5 Gbps of memory instead of the 16 Gbps shown a few days ago. This means that the bandwidth of this graphics card is reduced from 192 GB/s to 186 GB/s.

As previously reported by IThome, this is the first and so far the only non-public Arc A380-based graphics card, and it comes with 15.5 Gbps memory, so it's a bit slower than the official reference spec. As it turns out, this model does have specs that reference Intel's public version, and those parameters listed on Intel's website are incorrect.

Additionally, Intel clarified the confusion over HDMI 2.1 compatibility with the Arc A380 graphics card. The card actually supports the HDMI 2.1 specification, but it is up to the major partners to enable support. That's why the newly released GUNNIR Photon Arc A380 graphics card is only HDMI 2.0 compatible.

The domestic manufacturer Lanji has previously launched the Intel Ruixuan A380 graphics card. In terms of parameters, this A380 graphics card has 8 Xe cores, 1024 stream processors, a maximum GPU frequency of 2450MHz, 6GB 96bit GDDR6 memory, and a TBP power consumption of 92W.
