Ming-Chi Kuo: Apple's next-generation MacBook Air has only one new color scheme

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said in a reply to Bloomberg Gurman that Apple's new MacBook Air may offer three standard colors, and may add a new color, not as the market expected. Multicolor like iMac.

He predicted that if Quanta's Shanghai production capacity can return to normal levels by the third quarter of this year, the new MBA's shipment forecast by the end of the second half of this year is 6-7 million units.

The MacBook Air is currently expected to be revealed during Monday's WWDC 2022 keynote, and the model is thought to come in more colors than usual.

Mark - Gurman (Mark Gurman) previously said that Apple's new MacBook Air will only be available in a few colors. Current guesses: regular space gray and silver, and a new champagne-like gold and a blue.

In addition, Ming-Chi Kuo believes that since the MacBook Air is jointly shipped by Quanta and Foxconn, the delivery of this model should be better than the 14-inch MacBook Pro and 16-inch MacBook Pro. Of course, only Quanta is currently producing these two products.
