Xiaomi Poco C40 will be equipped with domestic Lingsheng JR510 chip

Xiaomi will launch the Poco C40 mobile phone overseas on June 16, but Xiaomi Vietnam branch revealed some key information when preheating the new phone.

According to reports, this phone is mainly cost-effective. It is equipped with a 6.71-inch HD+ resolution IPS LCD screen, uses a 13MP main camera, supports 18W fast charging, and is equipped with a 6000mAh battery.

But in fact, the most interesting thing about this machine is the chipset. Instead of a chip from Qualcomm, MediaTek or UNISOC, the Poco C40 uses a JR510 chip from Shanghai-based semiconductor manufacturer JLQ Technology, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

According to reports, the chip is manufactured using an 11nm process and has an eight-core structure, including four 2.0GHz performance cores and four 1.5GHz performance cores. It is said to offer the same level of performance as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 and MediaTek Helio G35.

In addition, the product page shows that the Xiaomi Poco C40 comes in three colors: black, yellow and green. The price in Vietnam is 3,490,000 Vietnamese dong (about 1,001.63 yuan), and it is planned to go on sale on June 17.
