The whistleblower Kepler is saying that AMD's RDNA3 architecture flagship GPU Navi 31 will be equipped with a total of 384 MB of Infinity Cache through standard and 3D packaging. For comparison, AMD's current RX 6950 XT is equipped with 128MB of infinite cache.
According to reports, the AMD Navi 31 GPU will be designed in a chiplet package with 6 MCD (Multi-Cache Dies) cache chips. Infinite cache architecture provides greater bandwidth to the GPU. The flagship Navi 31 GPU is expected to be powered by the Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card.
AMD's new generation of independent graphics will be launched in the second half of the year. The following is the information on AMD's new generation of RDNA3 architecture GPUs compiled by foreign media VideoCardz for reference:
- Navi 3X: 2x GCD, 16384 stream processors
- Navi 31: 1x GCD + 6x MCD, 12288 stream processors, 24GB GDDR6 384-bit video memory
- Navi 32: 1x GCD + 4x MCD, 8192 stream processors, 16GB GDDR6 256-bit video memory
- Navi 33: 4096 stream processor, 8GB GDDR6 128-bit video memory
