Apple M2 MacBook Air now supports same-day pickup at Apple Stores in Europe and Asia

Apple's new MacBook Air equipped with the M2 chip was officially launched on July 15 (Friday). As pre-order customers begin to receive their purchases, Apple has also started selling the new laptops in Apple Store retail stores.

Customers in Europe and Asia and elsewhere can now place orders on the Apple website or the Apple Store app and arrange for in-store pickup at their local retail store. Of course, it depends on the region, configuration...etc.

A quick spot check of Apple's online store in the UK shows that Apple Stores in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland have stock available for customers today, with exceptions.

For example, the 256GB storage/midnight/8-core GPU model won't be available for in-store pickup at Apple Stores in Scotland until Tuesday, August 16th. Similar to delayed shipments from Apple's online store.

Similar delays for base configurations are reflected in some Apple Stores in other European countries, while Australian Apple Stores won't receive stock for any configuration until Monday or Tuesday. In-store pickup at Apple Stores in the US and Canada will be available later today.

Apple has redesigned the M2 MacBook Air with a slightly larger 13.6-inch display, notch, flatter bezels, MagSafe charging, an upgraded 1080p camera, and silver and space gray, new Starlight, and Midnight color options. The notebook also features two Thunderbolt 3 ports and a 3.5mm jack that supports high-impedance headphones.
