China integrated circuit exports increased by 16.4% in the first half of the year

Li Kuiwen, the spokesperson of the General Administration of Customs and director of the Statistics and Analysis Department, introduced the import and export situation in the first half of 2022. According to reports, in the first half of the year, my country's import and export of mechanical and electrical products was 9.72 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.2%, accounting for 49.1% of my country's total foreign trade import and export.

In answering questions from reporters, Li Kuiwen said that in the first half, China's exports of mechanical and electrical products such as electrical equipment, integrated circuits, and automobiles increased by 24.8%, 16.4%, and 51.1% respectively; China's imports of intermediate products such as copper, basic organic chemicals, and integrated circuits increased. They increased by 16.2%, 7.9%, and 5.5% respectively.

Customs statistics show that in the first half of this year, the total value of my country's import and export of goods trade was 19.8 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.4%. Among them, exports were 11.14 trillion yuan, an increase of 13.2%; imports were 8.66 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.8%.
