Intel announces "innovation" event on September 27

Intel officially announced that it will hold an Innovation event on September 27-28, and foreign media speculated that Intel may release the 13th-generation Core processor at this conference. For reference, Intel released its 12th-generation Core processors at Innovation last October.

Intel Innovation is a conference for developers who focus on AI, client computing, cloud computing and future innovations. While the company made it clear that this was not a product launch but a networking event that included technical sessions, demos, and workshops, it did announce new products last time around.

The event will focus on AI, client-side, cloud and accelerated computing, IoT and 5G networking and security.

What's more, Intel confirmed that both Pat Gelsinger (Intel CEO) and Greg Lavender (CTO) will have their own keynotes.

If nothing else, Intel will not miss the next opportunity for "innovation", when it is expected to announce the desktop version of the 13th-generation Core series CPU code-named "Raptor Lake".
