Team Group launches PCIe 5.0 SSD + CPU water cooler

Team Group announced that it will launch the world's first ARGB integrated water cooling system that solves the dual heat sources of CPU and SSD during the year so that PCIe Gen5 SSD can maintain an excellent working temperature and achieve long-term performance. Time-stable high-speed operation.

According to the official, this year will be the first year of the new generation of PCIe Gen5 SSD from PCIe Gen4 SSD. In response to the high-temperature response of PCIe Gen5 SSD under high-speed transmission performance, Team Group T-FORCE launched the world’s first simultaneous CPU solution this year. ARGB integrated water cooling system with dual heat sources for SSD.

According to Team Group, the temperature of the controller is over 110 degrees Celsius when the PCIe Gen4 SSD 7,000MB/s consumes about 12W of power. When PCIe Gen5 SSDs have power consumption figures above 14W at speeds higher than 12,000MB/s, the controller temperature will be even more alarming. Therefore, to welcome the new generation of PCIe Gen5 SSDs this year, Team Group has launched the industry's first ARGB integrated water cooling system that solves the dual heat sources of CPU and SSD at the same time.

Intel and AMD's next-generation platforms will support PCIe 5.0 SSDs, and related PCIe 5.0 SSDs will be available in the second half of this year.
