Sony has cooperated with Western Digital to provide the SN850 NVMe SSD with the official authorization of the PlayStation brand. The official said that it has undergone hundreds of hours of testing.
The SSD is reportedly available from Sony's online store, with more retailers to offer next month. In terms of price, 1TB is priced at £179.99 (about 1441.72 yuan), and 2TB is priced at 289.99 pounds (about 2322.82 yuan).
In 2020, Western Digital released the SN850 PCIe 4.0 SSD, with a sequential read speed of up to 7GBps and an optional capacity of 500GB to 2TB. In May of this year, Western Digital released a new generation of Black SN850X flagship PCIe 4.0 SSD. The sequential read speed was increased to 7300MB/s compared to the old model’s 7000MB/s. It has not yet been listed.
