AMD B650 series motherboards will be available in October


At today's AMD conference, AMD announced that the flagship X670 series motherboards will be available in September with the Ryzen 7000 processor, and in October, the more cost-effective B650 series will also be available. Also included is a B650E "mid-range flagship".

At the Taipei Computer Show, AMD only announced three motherboards: B650, X670, and X670E, which are positioned as follows:

  • X670 Extreme: Provides PCIe 5.0 support for two graphics card slots and one storage slot for powerful connectivity and higher overclocking performance
  • X670: Provides PCIe5.0 support for one memory slot and one graphics card slot (the graphics card slot supporting PCIe5.0 is optional), designed for overclocking enthusiasts
  • B650: Has PCIe 5.0 support memory slots, designed for high-performance users

Now, AMD has updated its introduction to AM5 series motherboards, X 670E series motherboards support PCIe5.0 SSD and graphics cards and dual-channel DDR5 memory, X670 series motherboards support PCIe5.0 SSD and dual-channel DDR5 memory; B650E series motherboards support PCIe 5.0 SSD And DDR5 technology, B650 motherboard supports DDR5 technology, but PCIe 5.0 SSD support is an optional option.

For ordinary players, the B650 motherboard, which will be available in October, will be a cost-effective choice.
