ASUS announces new mATX and mini-ITX X670E motherboards


ASUS announced three AMD X670E series ATX motherboards, namely ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO, ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI, and TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI. Tonight, ASUS announced the new mATX and mini-ITX X670E motherboards, the models are ROG CROSSHAIR X670E GENE and ROG STRIX X670E-I GAMING WIFI respectively.

The mATX form factor ROG Crosshair X670E GENE motherboard is equipped with a 16+2-phase power supply solution, equipped with PCIe Gen 5.0 and M.2 Gen 5 slots, supports USB4, and supports 60W charging USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C ports.

The ROG STRIX X670E-I Gaming WiFI in the Mini-ITX form factor adopts a special design, one of the two Promontory 21 chips is located on a modular PCB, thereby saving space. In addition, this motherboard is also equipped with PCIe Gen 5.0 and M.2 Gen 5 slots. At present, ASUS has not announced the price and launch time of the new motherboard.
