ASUS unboxes the new AMD X670E motherboard

Tony from ASUS ROG took the lead in unpacking the ROG X670E Hero and X670E GENE motherboards, which are ATX and m ATX form factors. This series of motherboards will be available on September 27 with the Ryzen 7000 processor.

The ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO motherboard has a nearly full-coverage thermal armor, and the Polymo dynamic lighting effect is added to the I/O armor, which can present two different patterns. The ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO motherboard is equipped with 18+2 power supply modules (110A), 2 PCIe 5.0 x16 slots on board, and a total of 5 M.2 SSD ports are provided through the included PCIe 5.0 M.2 expansion card. WiFi 6E wireless network card and 2.5G wired network card, as well as dual USB4 interfaces, provide high-speed data transmission. In terms of audio, a high-quality ALC4082 audio chip and ESS ES9218PQ four-way DAC decoding chip are used.

The ROG Crosshair X670E GENE motherboard in mATX form factor features a 16+2-phase power delivery solution with PCIe Gen 5.0 and M.2 Gen 5 slots, USB4 support, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port that supports 60W charging.
