Beyerdynamic launched two new gaming headsets, MMX 100 and MMX 150, at the 2022 CJ Plus show. According to the official introduction, the MMX 100 and MMX 150 have sound effects tuned for the gaming environment, a newly designed META VOICE microphone, and a comfortable fit. MMX 100 is a gaming headset with a 3.5mm interface, suitable for players who like to connect to a gamepad to play games on a console. MMX 150 has a built-in sound card and uses a USB interface to provide gamers with richer audio functions.
The MMX 100 and MMX 150 have built-in 40mm sound-generating units , which are tuned by beyerdynamic acoustic engineers for games to ensure clear and precise sounds in games. Officially, both headphones use the new META VOICE cardioid condenser microphone. The META VOICE 9.9 mm microphone diaphragm can restore voice images naturally and realistically, while suppressing background noise such as mouse and keyboard.
The control wheel mechanism on the MMX 100 and MMX 150 headphones allows you to quickly and accurately adjust the volume without leaving the game. In addition, the MMX 100 can directly turn off the microphone via a separate mute button. Another feature of the MMX 150 is the light guide system on the control wheel, which makes features such as augmented reality mode and mute more visually apparent.
The price of Beyer's new MMX100 and MMX150 gaming headsets has not yet been announced.
