Dell XPS 13 Plus screen some OLED versions have problems

Dell's flagship thin and light notebook  XPS 13 Plus was reported by some users to have a loose screen problem. Dell has confirmed to The Verge that some OLED versions of the model have screen issues, and the company is contacting affected customers and appears to be recalling some products. Users had previously reported loose screens on the XPS 13 Plus, and another video showed an XPS 13 Plus screen falling off in a Best Buy demo area. In addition, users reported issues such as freezes, blurry screens, and touch failures.

The video is titled XPS 15, but it's actually an XPS 13 Plus

At present, there have been users who said that the purchase order of the XPS 13 Plus has been recalled.

Dell said in a statement to The Verge:

We prioritized product quality and found that some of the screens on the XPS 13 Plus OLED Edition could come loose due to an issue with the third-party adhesive used, which we quickly corrected during production. Dell is proactively reaching out to potentially affected customers to replace the screen, preferably before the screen comes loose.

Dell also said the non-OLED XPS 13 Plus will not be affected.

This product is also sold in China. It is equipped with a 12th-generation i7-1260P processor and a 3.5K OLED screen. The price starts at 16,999 yuan. It is not clear whether it will affect the domestic version
