DXOMARK: Redmi 10 2022 battery scores 62 points, equal to Mi 12

DXOMARK today announced the evaluation results of the Redmi 10 2022, with a battery score of 62 points.

The Redmi 10 2022 uses a 5000mAh battery, supports 18W fast charging, comes with a 22.5W charger, is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G88 (12nm) chip, and uses a 6.5-inch 1080 x 2400 resolution 90 Hz refresh rate LCD display.

DXOMARK said that the phone performed well in typical usage scenarios, with the ability to automatically adjust screen brightness to reduce power consumption, with a maximum battery life of 2 days and 9 hours.

In the outdoor mobile test, the battery life of the Redmi 10 2022 is also higher than the average of the same category. But its battery life was poor in the calibrated mode test (when the screen brightness was set to 200 nits), and the problem was more pronounced when watching online videos and playing games.

Both Redmi 10 2022 and Xiaomi Mi 12 scored 62 points in battery, which is stronger than Moto Edge 30 Pro, equal to OnePlus 10 Pro and Apple iPhone 13 mini, but slightly inferior to Samsung S21 (Exynos).

In terms of charging, the performance of the Redmi 10 2022 needs to be improved. It can charge 80% in 1 hour and 25 minutes. Even if it is equipped with a 22.5W charger, it takes 2 hours and 43 minutes to fully charge, and the battery life obtained by charging for 5 minutes is less than 2 hours.
