Regarding the production capacity of 4680 batteries, Kodali said that the company is guided by customer needs, and will plan production capacity and support production according to the actual needs of customers.
Regarding the technology used in the 4680 battery structure, Kodali said that the steel shell technology is currently used for the large cylindrical 4680 battery structure suitable for new energy vehicles. Because the structure of the 4680 large cylindrical battery and the 21700, 18650 cylindrical battery is completely different, and the shape, size, and size are also very different, so the current equipment between the 4680 large cylindrical battery and the 21700, 18650 cylindrical battery cannot be shared.
