Previously, in the face of the shrinking smartphone market, MediaTek has adjusted its annual growth forecast for the full year. MediaTek released its July financial report on August 10 . The financial report shows that MediaTek’s July sales were NT$40.89 billion (about 9.241 billion yuan), and revenue in July increased by 1.31%; the cumulative sales in the first seven months reached NT$339.331 billion (about 76.689 billion yuan), A year-on-year increase of 23.82%.
In addition, MediaTek's consolidated revenue in the first six months of 2022 was NT$298.44 billion (about 67.447 billion yuan), an increase of 27.7% over the same period in 2021, setting a new record for the same period.
