Nvidia and AMD drop major graphics card models to suggested retail prices

NVIDIA and AMD's main graphics card models have been reduced to suggested retail prices. According to reports, the average minimum prices for Nvidia and AMD graphics cards have previously dropped below the suggested retail price. The foreign media counted the "main models" including the RX 6800, 6800 XT, RTX 3080 10GB, RTX 3070, and RTX 3060 Ti. As the chart above shows, as of August 21st, these "primary models" are priced at 97% off MSRP.

The price reduction of high-end models in China is the most obvious, but the price reduction of mainstream popular models such as RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti is lower. At present, the models of major manufacturers are still higher than NVIDIA's suggested retail price. As AMD and Nvidia's next-generation graphics card releases approach, graphics card prices are expected to continue to drop.
