NVIDIA "GTX 2080" graphics card engineering samples exposed

Before the launch of the RTX 20 series and RTX 30 series graphics cards, Nvidia's graphics cards had been named after GTX. According to VideoCardz, an engineering sample of a GTX 2080 graphics card has been exposed, which means that Nvidia originally planned to name the RTX 20 series as the GTX 20 series.

According to reports, this GTX 2080 has the same appearance and motherboard as NVIDIA's officially launched RTX 2080 reference graphics card, as well as the same performance, supporting ray tracing and DLSS.

Since the RTX 20 series graphics cards supported Ray Tracing RT (Ray Tracing), NVIDIA's game graphics cards abandoned the GTX prefix and used the RTX prefix. This GTX 2080 was bought by Reddit netizens on eBay, an overseas second-hand trading platform. It cost $360 (about 2426.4 yuan) and has a certain collection value.
