Samsung E6 2K flexible screen exposure

Digital blogger @Digital Chat Station revealed that Samsung E6 substrate high-frequency dimming 2K high-resolution screen has been successfully shipped, but if only looking at the high-frequency dimming characteristics, it is still inferior to domestic manufacturers. The shipped 2160Hz PWM screen is far stronger than the low-frequency PWM + fake DC solution mass-produced last year.

He said that the next high-end models of the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 model almost uniformly adopted this solution.

The blogger revealed in late July that the Samsung E6 substrate screen has been prepared, and the new flagship of the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 will be launched at the end of the year, and brand manufacturers such as vivo, Xiaomi, and OPPO have purchased it.

Compared to the E5 screen, the Samsung E6 screen is expected to achieve a better brightness boost. As a comparison, DisplayMate tests show that the Samsung E5 OLED screen has 112% DCI-P3 and 140% sRGB color gamut coverage, supports 980 nits of global peak brightness and 1508 nits of low APL brightness.

In addition, Qualcomm will hold the Snapdragon Summit from November 14th to 17th. According to the previous rules, Qualcomm is expected to release the next-generation flagship processor Snapdragon 8 Gen2, and then will usher in the new flagship of Snapdragon 8 Gen2 from major manufacturers.

It is worth mentioning that digital blogger @Ice Universe previously broke the news that several major manufacturers have begun testing the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 (SM8550). Compared with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 (SM8475), the comprehensive energy efficiency of the new flagship processor Snapdragon 8 Gen2 will be improved by at least 15%.
