The next-generation flagship S23 series of the Samsung Galaxy S series has been exposed many times before, especially the S23 Ultra super cup is expected to be equipped with a 200-megapixel main camera. Today, blogger @i Ice Universe said that it has obtained exclusive news that the dimensions of the Galaxy S23 Ultra are: 163.4×78.1×8.9 mm.
Judging from the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s 163.3×77.9×8.9 mm comparison, the size of the S23 Ultra has not changed much, and the thickness is the same. @i Ice Universe said that the S23 Ultra is the flagship with the smallest changes in Samsung's history.
Samsung Electronics Mobile Experience (MX) division confirmed with major camera partners that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be equipped with a 200-megapixel camera sensor.
Blogger @i Ice Universe also broke the news that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will use the unreleased 200- megapixel sensor ISOCELL HP2, and will still use a 5000mAh battery, but it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor.
In addition, Samsung approved the Hexa²pixel trademark on July 19, which may refer to the six-in-one image readout mode, which can add the charges induced in adjacent pixels together and read out in one-pixel mode. The pixels are combined into one-pixel output, which can increase the sensitivity by reducing the resolution under the condition that the FOV remains unchanged, thereby improving the dark-light imaging effect.
According to previous reports by Ming-Chi Kuo, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 (SM8550) processor. Qualcomm has previously announced that the 2022 Snapdragon Summit will be held for three days from November 15th to 17th, and is expected to release the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
According to Alvin, there are rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will use Qualcomm's ultrasonic 3D wide area (3D Sonic Max) fingerprint scanning technology, which is the same as the ultrasonic 3D wide area fingerprint sensor used by Vivo X80 Pro, iQOO 9 Pro and other mobile phones. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will also offer a larger fingerprint recognition area and faster unlocking speed.
