The ultimate SSD that Samsung is expected to warm up to is the 990 PRO PCIe 5.0 SSD. As shown in the video, this SSD will use a new cooling vest design.
Earlier that the Samsung 990 PRO flagship SSD has passed the Korean RRA certification and has appeared on the PCI-SIG website, confirming that it supports PCIe 5.0 x4 (32GT/s).
It is known that PCIe 5.0 SSD has the common 2280 specification, the widened 2580 specification, and the lengthened and widened 25110 specification. In terms of speed, the sequential read speed of the Samsung 990 PRO is expected to exceed 10,000MB/s. The release time may be September or October.
