In the second quarter, Wingtech's net profit attributable to its parent company was 679 million yuan, an increase of 35% from the previous quarter.
Among them, in terms of semiconductor business, in the first half of the year, Wingtech’s semiconductor business revenue was 7.659 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.72% ; business gross profit margin was 41.97%; net profit was 1.726 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 31.72%.
According to the financial report, Wingtech’s semiconductor business accounted for 48% and 24% of its revenue from automobiles, industry and power, respectively. In the first half of the year, its revenue from the automotive industry increased by 21.3% year-on-year, and the industrial sector increased by 24.05% year-on-year. growth level.
From the perspective of key product lines, the revenue of transistors (including protection devices ESD / TVS, etc.), MOSFET power transistors, and analog and logic ICs all increased compared with the same period last year, of which the revenue of upper MOSFETs increased by 23.46% year-on-year.
In terms of product integration business, in the first half of the year, Wingtech's product integration business still showed a slight increase in operating income, achieving an operating income of 19.418 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.82%; due to factors such as rising costs and increased R&D investment, net profit lost 216 million yuan.
In terms of optical module business, Wingtech achieved a net loss of 37 million yuan in the first half of the year, of which the net loss attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 26 million yuan.
Wingtech introduced in the financial report that during the reporting period, the company's semiconductor, optics and product integration business globalization has accelerated. The semiconductor business has increased investment in Europe and Asia to increase wafer and packaging and testing capacity; the optical business has actively explored new domestic and overseas customers on the basis of the original overseas specific customers; the product integration business has successfully developed overseas and domestic customers. Customers open up bottlenecks and gain new, greater growth.
At the same time, the three major businesses empower each other to fully deploy the automotive market. At present, Nexperia has rapidly entered the Chinese automotive and industrial markets, Delta has begun to deploy automotive camera products, and Wingtech has also expanded from consumer electronics to the broad automotive electronics market.
