Zeng Yuqun: Ningde era batteries have been sold to 56 countries and regions around the world

Yesterday, Ningde Times Chairman Zeng Yuqun said at the 2022 World New Energy Vehicle Conference that over the past decade, the new energy vehicle industry has experienced early sprouting to today's vigorous development. "Currently, we are accelerating towards a new phase of full electrification."

Zeng Yuqun pointed out that full electrification also requires strong manufacturing and delivery capabilities to support. In terms of manufacturing, CATL has built the country's largest 5G enterprise private network covering an area of more than 5 million square meters . CATL has used seven intelligent manufacturing technologies, including artificial intelligence, digital twin, and edge computing, to establish an extreme manufacturing system architecture, creating an ecosystem with deep interaction of multi-platform and multi-system, deep integration of industrialization and informatization, and random defects in battery cell manufacturing from PPM is one part per million, which is reduced to PPB, which is one part per billion.

In terms of production capacity and delivery, CATL has carried out a coordinated layout of domestic and international production capacity. In China, CATL has 10 bases ; overseas, the German factory has obtained a production license, the module line has been put into production, and the battery core line will be put into production by the end of the year. This year, CATL has deployed its second European factory in Hungary, with a total production capacity of 100GWh, and construction will start this year. In the first half of this year, the global market share of CATL hit a new high, reaching 34.8% .

Data shows that so far, CATL's batteries have been sold to 56 countries and regions around the world, and more than 5 million vehicles have been installed. In addition, CATL has built the world's largest after-sales service network in this field, and has established 81 cooperative stations, 6 regional warehouses, 4 maintenance centers, and 3 training centers in 42 countries including Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.
