Acer's financial data showed that in August 2022, Acer's single-month consolidated revenue was NT$20.241 billion (about 4.574 billion yuan), a month-on-month increase of 15.9%. A year-on-year decrease of 25%.
Acer's accumulated consolidated revenue in the first eight months of this year was NT$188.42 billion (about 42.583 billion yuan), a year-on-year decrease of 7.9%.
Acer said that revenue performance highlights include: Vero environmental protection computer revenue in August increased by 146.2% month-on-month, desktop computer cumulative revenue in the first eight months increased by 9.0% year-on-year, and commercial product cumulative revenue in the first eight months increased by 4.4% year-on-year.
In the second quarter, Acer's consolidated revenue was NT$72.322 billion (approximately RMB 16.345 billion), a decrease of 7.7% from the previous quarter and a decrease of 9.3% from a year earlier; net profit after tax was NT$1.724 billion (approximately RMB 390 million), a decrease of 23% from the previous quarter. A year-on-year decrease of 40%.
