AMD Adrenaline 22.9.2 Driver Released

Yesterday AMD released the AMD Software Adrenalin Edition 22.9.2 driver, which supports AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors and the game Grounded.

Known issues are as follows:

  • The Radeon Super Resolution feature may not trigger after changing the resolution or HDR settings in games such as Nioh 2.
  • The Oculus Dashboard menus and render controllers may appear bouncing or shaking on the Oculus Quest 2 when using some AMD graphics cards, such as the Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card.
  • On some AMD graphics cards (eg Radeon 570), GPU utilization may be stuck at 100% in Radeon performance metrics after closing the game.
  • When previewing the timeline in VEGAS Pro, some colors may appear reversed.
  • On some AMD graphics cards (such as the Radeon RX 6700 XT), the monitor may experience brief image corruption when switching between video and game windows.
  • When V-Refresh Sync is globally set to Always Off, there may be system stuttering or driver timeouts when using Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs for video playback.
  • Users may experience dropped frames when using the browser's hardware acceleration on Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs for video playback.
  • AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors were launched on the 27th of this month, starting from 5,499 yuan in the National Bank. The Ryzen 7000 series processors use a 5nm process and Zen4 architecture. Officially, the IPC is increased by 13%, and with a frequency of 5.7GHz, the single-core performance is increased by 29%.
