AMD's new generation of small steel cannon R5 7600X preliminary evaluation released

Not long ago, AMD released the Ryzen 7000 series processors, which will be available on September 27. The R5 7600X with 6 cores and 12 threads is the lowest specification among the first Ryzen 7000 models, 4.7-5.3GHz, 38MB cache, 105W TDP, priced at $299 (about 2057.12 yuan). Some reviewers have released preliminary test information of this processor, the platform used is X670E motherboard + DDR5-6000 memory + 240 water cooling.

As shown in the figure above, in Cinebench R23, the R5 7600X runs at a base frequency of 4.7GHz with the CPB automatic frequency acceleration function turned off, with a single-core score of 1681 and a multi-core score of 13003. The CPU temperature is only 56 degrees, and the CPU power consumption is only 60W. After the CPB is turned on, the frequency of the R5 7600X can reach about 5.5GHz, the single-core 1920 points, and the multi-core 14767 points, an increase of 13-14%. At this time, the CPU temperature reaches 92.1 degrees, and the CPU power consumption also reaches 110W.

It is expected that AMD will release its evaluation information before the launch of the Ryzen 7000, and there will be more detailed evaluation content at that time.

The parameters and prices of the first four models of AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors are as follows:

  • R9 7950X: 16C32T, 4.5-5.7GHz, 80MB cache, 170W TDP, $699
  • R9 7900X: 12C24T, 4.7-5.6GHz, 76MB cache, 170W TDP, $549
  • R7 7700X: 8C16T, 4.5-5.4GHz, 40MB cache, 105W TDP, $399
  • R5 7600X: 6C12T, 4.7-5.3GHz, 38MB cache, 105W TDP, $299
