A few days before the announcement of the new iPhone line, Apple began selling the compact iPhone 12 mini smartphone at a discounted price. The 5.4-inch model debuted in 2020, and the iPhone 12 mini is now available through Apple's online store in refurbished, pre-owned devices refurbished by Apple.
From the official Apple Refurb Store, iPhone 12 mini models are now available from $529 for the 64GB version ($100 savings over the new version) and up to $659 for the 256GB version ($120 savings).
Refurbished iPhones come unlocked and carrier-free. All refurbished iPhones come with a new battery, new case, and new packaging with all manuals and a USB-C to Lightning cable. All refurbished iPhones are covered by Apple's standard one-year warranty.
As expected, the compact model will no longer be included in the Apple smartphone line in 2022 - the release of the iPhone 14 mini is not expected.
