Apple iOS 15.7 / iPadOS 15.7 official version released

Apple today pushed the iOS 15.7 / iPadOS 15.7 update (build number: 19H12) to iPhone and iPad users. This update is 26 days after the last release. It should be noted that due to the cache configuration of Apple's regional node servers, there may be a slight delay in the detection of the upgrade update in some places. Generally, it will not be too long within half an hour.

Apple's update log shows that this update provides important security updates and is recommended for all users to install. Previously, Apple iPhone 8 and newer users can also upgrade to the official version of iOS 16.

In addition to fixing security issues for Contacts, Maps, Safari, Safari Extensions, Shortcuts, and WebKit, the iOS 15.7 and iPadOS 15.7 updates address several kernel vulnerabilities. Apple says one of the kernel vulnerabilities has been actively exploited, so users who cannot update to iOS 16 should install iOS 15.7 as soon as possible, and iPad users should update to iPadOS 15.7.
