At the "Far Out" conference held in the early hours of this morning, Apple today announced the launch of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, equipped with a "Smart Island" pill screen to display alerts and Background activity, brighter display and AOD always-on display, A16 Bionic chip, new color options, and more.

iPhone 14 Pro is priced at 7,999 yuan for 128GB, 8,899 yuan for 256GB, 10,699 yuan for 512GB, and 12,499 yuan for 1TB; iPhone 14 Pro Max is priced at 8,999 yuan for 128GB, 9,899 yuan for 256GB, and 11,699 yuan for 512GB, 1TB is priced at 13,499 yuan.
The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max offer a redesigned TrueDepth camera array that provides "dynamic islands" where the length of the pill changes depending on the situation, thanks to new software integrations throughout the system. The Super Retina XDR display is brighter and features an AOD display. The A16 chip is the first Apple chip based on the 4nm process, with 16 billion transistors.
The rear camera system features a 48-megapixel quad-pixel camera with a 65% larger sensor. The 48-megapixel wide-angle camera also provides a 2x telephoto view. The ultra-wide-angle camera has also been improved.
The Photon Engine improves low-light performance for all cameras. The new adaptive rear flash features nine LEDs, twice as many and three times as bright. The iPhone 14 Pro offers Action Mode, an improved front-facing camera with autofocus, collision detection, and emergency SOS using a satellite connection. The iPhone 14 Pro continues to offer "all-day battery life." The new device comes in new color options, including space black and purple, as well as silver and gold. Prices for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max continue to start at $999 and $1,099, respectively.
