Apple's iPhone 14 Pro Max has the longest delivery time

Apple's official website shows that the iPhone 14 Pro National Bank version is placed on the same day, and the estimated delivery time is 5-6 weeks, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max is 6-7 weeks. The 6-7 weeks exceeded the average wait time for the iPhone 13 Pro series last year and set the longest "standby time" in Apple's history.

For Apple customers, the wait time for the iPhone 14 Pro model is now four to six weeks and is expected to increase in November.

According to Apple Insider, investment firm Wedbush sees encouraging demand for the iPhone 14 Pro series. Analysts Daniel Ives and John Katsingris believe that the iPhone 14 Pro mix is up 85% to 90% at this stage of the cycle, while the iPhone 13 Pro mix is up about 60% to 65%.

Overall demand tracking is 8% to 10% higher than the company's forecast for the iPhone 14 Pro. If demand maintains this pace over the Christmas holidays, Apple could face supply issues and sales deliveries could continue into early 2023.

In fact, supplier Foxconn has been ordered to transfer some of its iPhone 14 production lines to the iPhone 14 Pro models.

Sales in China are strong, and Wedbush believes that about 30% of Chinese iPhone users may upgrade to the iPhone 14 series. Retail servers in the region crashed as consumers collectively placed more than 2 million orders for the iPhone 14 Pro series in the first 24 hours.

Earlier, other researchers showed that demand for the iPhone 14 Pro Max surpassed the iPhone 13 Pro models in another way. Analysis by investment bank Morgan Stanley shows that the iPhone 14 Pro Max has the longest lead time of all models released in the past six years, at 36.5 days, at a similar time after launch. However, the iPhone 14 Pro was on par with the iPhone 13 Pro models at 29.5 days.

Data recently shared by JPMorgan said the average lead time for the iPhone 14 Pro was 35 days and the iPhone 14 Pro Max was 41 days.
