Apple officially announced that starting September 13, iOS 16 will be available for iPhone 8 or later models and iPhone SE (2nd generation) or later models. Download and use, including the redesigned Lock screen, new messaging app features, and more.
iOS 16 will be pushed to iPhone 8 and later models as a free software update. The specific models are as follows:
