Apple's official website removed and discontinued the 649 yuan Apple Watch magnetic charging base

At the "Far Out" conference held early this morning, Apple released new products such as the iPhone 14 series. After the event, Apple's official website removed and discontinued the Apple Watch magnetic charging.

The dock, which retails for $79 ($649 in China), includes a circular base that allows users to charge the Apple Watch flat or on its side to use as an alarm clock , and it can connect to a Lightning-to-USB cable and Apple's 5W USB Power adapter connection.

The charging dock was introduced after the first Apple Watch was released in 2015. For customers looking for a similar experience, Apple offers the MagSafe Duo Charger, which can simultaneously charge an Apple Watch and a MagSafe-enabled iPhone.

Apple introduced that the MagSafe dual-item charger can conveniently charge compatible iPhones, Apple Watches, wireless charging boxes for AirPods, and other Qi-certified devices. Just place your device on the charger and it will start charging steadily and efficiently. The charger also folds up so you can take it with you wherever you go.

It is recommended to use:

  • 20W USB-C power adapter with 9V / 2.22A support (sold separately), fast wireless charging at up to 11W
  • 27W or greater USB-C power adapter (sold separately) that supports 9V / 3A, fast wireless charging at up to 14W
