ASUS releases ROG Strix RTX 4090 graphics card

After NVIDIA released the RTX 40 series graphics cards, ASUS also released the ROG Strix RTX 4090 graphics card flagship model.

According to reports, ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 is designed for ultra-high resolution or ultra-fast refresh rate, using a 3.5-slot design , built-in die-cast metal frame, shield and backplate to prevent the PCB from sagging or warping.

Officially, ROG has redesigned the radiator from the ground up, and compared with the previous generation ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090, a new vapor chamber is used, which increases the heat dissipation surface area by 30%. With four 8mm and three 6mm heat pipes built in, the temperature is 5°C cooler when subjected to a heat load of 500 W.

Additionally, ROG has upgraded the Axial-tech fan with a thicker design with 7 blades, delivering 23.8% more airflow and 19.3% more pressure than the previous generation fan used on the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090.

In addition, ASUS also released the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card with a 3.65 slot thickness, which also uses the latest cooling system.

The NVIDIA RTX 4090 will be available on October 12, and the RTX 4080 will be available in November.
