Chieftec has introduced the new Elox AS-01B-OP case for gaming desktops or workstations. It has a minimalist design and is only available in black. The model is positioned as a universal solution and is focused on reducing noise levels, so the design uses gaskets made of sound-absorbing material. They are used on the left and right walls, as well as on the front panel. That is why the body is devoid of fashionable glass walls.
Supports the installation of motherboard form factors Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, and ATX, as well as seven expansion cards. There are two places for four drives - two each, 2.5 and 3.5 inches. You can also install a video card up to 320 mm long in the case. The top panel has two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a single USB 2.0 port, and 3.5mm headphone and microphone ports.
Up to 6 fans are used for cooling. Available in 120mm or 140mm versions. Also on the top panel, there is a place for a liquid cooling system with a 280 mm front radiator. The maximum height of the CPU cooler is 170mm. Case dimensions are quite typical for the series - 405 × 212 × 462 mm, weight - almost 4.3 kg. The cost has not yet been specified.
