China Unicom announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on September 20 that as of August, the cumulative number of 5G package users reached 194.83 million. In addition, as of August 2022, China Unicom had reached 827.013 million users of "Great Connection", reached 354.494 million connected to IoT terminals, and provided 2,552 virtual private network service customers in the 5G industry. Smart customer service customer problems were solved that month. The rate of sales was 98.3%, intelligent customer service accounted for 77.2% of the month, and the cumulative number of authorized patents this year was 1,156.
In the first half of 2022, China Unicom achieved mobile service revenue of RMB 84.9 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%, and mobile billing users reached 320 million, of which 5G package users had a net increase of 29.99 million to 184.92 million. The penetration rate of 5G packages reached 58%.
