CINNO Research released a report that in August 2022, the average utilization rate of domestic LCD panel factories was 68.9%, down 4.4 percentage points from July.
The report pointed out that based on the production data of global panel factories, the overall utilization rate in August has dropped to 60%, which is another 6 percentage points lower than that in July. Since there is still no obvious sign of recovery in terminal demand, it is expected that the global panel factories will still maintain low operation in September.
CINNO Research said that the average utilization rate of domestic AMOLED panel factories in August was 46.2%, an increase of 4.6 percentage points from July. With the gradual increase of new models of various mobile phone brands, it is expected that the utilization rate of domestic AMOLED panel factories will continue to improve in September.
- BOE: The average utilization rate of TFT-LCD production lines fell to 61% in August, a significant decrease of 11 percentage points from July. The number of BOE AMOLED production lines put into operation in August was less than expected, and the utilization rate fell to the same level as in June.
- TCL Huaxing: The overall utilization rate of TFT-LCD production lines in August was nearly 78% , a slight decrease of 0.5 percentage points from July.
- Huike HKC: The average utilization rate of Huike's TFT-LCD production line in August was about 71% , an increase of 1 percentage point from July. In terms of production area, August increased by 8% compared to July.
