EIZO today released a new 4K HDR professional monitor ColorEdge CG2700X for content creators. EIZO ColorEdge CG2700X is 27 inches in size, IPS panel, 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution, 10bit color depth (1.07 billion colors), 500 cd/m² maximum brightness, and a static contrast ratio of 1450: 1, covering 99% of the Adobe RGB color gamut and 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
According to reports, the series of monitors are calibrated for 4K UHD HDR movie production. The monitor is expected to be available on September 19, and the price has not yet been announced. In July, EIZO announced the new ColorEdge CG2700S flagship 27-inch HDR color-managed monitor with 2K WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, 400cd/m² brightness and HDR gamma support, and USB Type-C connectivity.
