Today, the official Xiaomi Mall and Xiaomi marketplace on JD.com announced that the compact flagship Xiaomi 12S will now be offered at a new reduced price of $535 for the 8/128 GB version. At the time of release in July, the price was $600.
This is a small-screen flagship jointly developed by Xiaomi and Leica. Xiaomi 12S is more comfortable to hold in your hand due to the fact that it is slightly narrower than the iPhone 13, while its screen is larger. Xiaomi 12S received a 6.28-inch AMOLED panel with a frame rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels.
Xiaomi Mi 12S wide-angle main camera received Sony IMX707 sensor, Yexiao 2.0 algorithm, and CyberFocus focusing system. It offers built-in Leica Natural, Leica Vivid, Leica Monochrome, Leica Monochrome HC 4 Leica filters and various shooting modes. The optical format of the Sony IMX707 sensor is 1/1.28", which is larger than the Sony IMX766 and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The smartphone is based on the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 single-chip system. The battery capacity was 4500 mAh, 67 W wired charging, 50 W wireless, and 10 W reverse wireless is supported.
