Global semiconductor manufacturer GlobalFoundries (GF) (NASDAQ: GFS) recently announced that the company has been included in the PHLX Semiconductor Industry Index SM (SOXSM), and in September 2022 Effective Monday the 19th.
"We are proud to join other leading semiconductor companies in the Semiconductor Industry Index," said GF's Chief Financial Officer David Reeder. "Since our successful listing on the Nasdaq in October 2021, our growth strategy has continued to drive clear demand and confidence in our differentiated solutions and company."
The PHLX Semiconductor Industry Index SM (SOXSM) is a revised market capitalization-weighted index consisting of the 30 largest qualified semiconductor companies listed in the United States, ranked by market capitalization.
