On October 29, 2021, Huawei held a legion establishment meeting in Songshan Lake Park. Ren Zhengfei and the company's leaders provided information from the coal mine legion, the smart road legion, the customs and port legion, the smart photovoltaic legion, and the data center energy. More than 300 soldiers of the legion marched.
On March 30 this year, Huawei held the inaugural meeting of the second batch of legions in Shenzhen. Senior leaders including Ren Zhengfei attended the meeting. Huawei's second batch of ten legions included: Electric Power Digital Corps, Government Affairs One Netcom Corps, Airport and Rail Corps, Interactive Media Corps, Sports Health Corps, Display New Nuclear Corps, Campus Corps, Wide Area Network Corps, Data Center Base Corps, and Digital Site Corps. Previously, Huawei has established a coal mine army, a data center energy army, a smart photovoltaic army, a customs and port army, and a smart highway army.
On May 26 this year, Huawei held the inaugural meeting of the third batch of legion/system department in Area A of Shenzhen Bantian Base. President Ren and company leaders attended the meeting, presented the flag, and delivered speeches for the legion. The third batch of five corps/system departments are: Digital Finance Corps, Site Energy Corps, Machine Vision Corps, Manufacturing Industry Digital Systems Department, and Public Utilities Systems Department.
