IDC: This year's smart home control screen market shipments will exceed 650,000 units

IDC released a report saying that in the first half of 2022, China's smart home central control screen market shipments will be 300,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 160.7%. The report pointed out that the market shipments of smart home central control screens are expected to exceed 650,000 units in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 106.4%, and the compound annual growth rate of market shipments in the next five years will exceed 60%.

In terms of the competitive landscape, early players in the central control screen market are highly concentrated in the whole-house smart vertical manufacturers, such as Ou Ruibo, Lumi, Yunqi, etc. Since the end of 2021, technology giants represented by Xiaodu and Huawei, security giants represented by Dinike and EZVIZ, and home appliance giants represented by Haier and Midea have entered the market one after another to lay out the new smart home track of the central control screen.

In terms of product form, 4 inches is the mainstream shipment size in the central control screen market, and the market shipments in the first half of 2022 will account for about 60%. Because it is the same size as the 86 bottom box, the 4-inch central control screen can better meet the user's demand for the intelligent upgrade of the original switch and has a high market acceptance. In addition, in the first half of 2022, the market share of more than 4 inches has increased significantly, of which 7-10 inches are the main growth range .
