In Cheongju, South Korea builds a new M15X factory

According to SK Hynix's official news, in order to lay the foundation for future growth, SK Hynix will build a new semiconductor production plant M15X (eXtension) in Cheongju, Chungbuk, South Korea. SK Hynix plans to build M15X in about 60,000 square meters of land in the Industrial Park of Cheongju Science and Technology City, South Korea in October this year and aims to complete the construction in early 2025. The company completed M15 in Cheongju and M16 in Icheon in 2018 and 2021, respectively, realizing its future prospects ahead of schedule.
